§ 1. Mr. Staintonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food on how many occasions during 1963 the price of refined sugar was varied by the refiners, differentiating so far as possible between changes attributable to movements in the free world market price and those occasioned by distribution payments made in conformity with the Sugar Act, 1956.
§ Mr. SoamesI am informed that the price of refined sugar has varied on 171 occasions, of which 13 arose from changes in the rates of surcharge or distribution payments.
