38. Mr. Sorensen

asked the Minister of Health if he is satisfied that adequate arrangements will be made between the Essex County Council and new Essex boroughs to ensure that an ambulance service will meet the requirements of persons living beyond but near the boundaries of those new boroughs so that they are not adversely affected by the contraction of the administrative County of Essex; and if he will make a statement.

This is a matter for mutual arrangement between the Essex County Council and the Greater London Council.
