§ Sir E. Boyle:The number of public libraries which are recognised as local agents of the National Lending Library for Science and Technology, which have established a post of technical librarian or which have become the centre of local systems for the provision of scientific and technical literature and information is 50. I am confident that this number will increase, but the exact extent of the increase cannot be estimated.
