§ Mr. WhitelawOn 16th March there were 52 boys and 32 girls seeking first employment in the areas covered by the Amble, Ashington, Blyth, Bedlington Station, Morpeth and Seaton Delaval Youth Employment Offices. The special measures which the Government are taking to raise the general level of employment in the North East will have an effect on the surrounding areas and improve the employment prospects of the young persons living there.
