Mr. Gourlayasked the Prime Minister what representations he has received from Kirkcaldy Town Council concerning the proposed restrictions on Scandinavian air services at Prestwick; what was the nature of his reply; and what estimate he has made of the effect such restrictions will have on trade relations with the Scandinavian countries.
§ The Prime MinisterI received and acknowledged a letter informing me that Kirkcaldy Town Council had decided to support the representations which Prestwick Town Council had made to me to ensure the continuance and development of Prestwick Airport. All relevant considerations will be taken into account.
