Footasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies how many persons have entered Bechuanaland from South-West Africa during the present months; how many have been granted permission to remain; how many have been granted permission to proceed to some other territory; and if he will give an assurance that none of these persons will be compelled to return to South-West Africa.
§ Mr. SandysOne hundred and sixty-eight persons entered Bechuanaland Protectorate from South-West Africa this month. Pending inquiries, no decisions have yet been taken about their further movement. None who are political refugees will be required to return to the Republic.
