§ Mr. GreenFigures of gross domestic productper capita are given in Table D 3 of the United Nations Yearbook of National Accounts Statistics, a copy of which is in the Library. The latest year for which complete figures are available is 1958 and this has therefore been used in selecting the highest and lowest per capita incomes in the table. 1961 figures, however, are also given where available. For many of the less developed countries official statistics are not available and the figures shown are unofficial estimates made by the United Nations Statistical Office. It should be 217W noted that the figures in national currencies have been converted to United States dollars at the prevailing rate of exchange but without any adjustment for differences in relative price levels.
