§ Mr. R. A. ButlerIn response to an appeal from the Secretary-General for funds to enable United Nations civilian operations to continue in the Congo during 1964, Her Majesty's Government have agreed to contribute a further sum of $500,000. Parliament will be asked in due course to vote this amount during the financial year 1964–65, by means of a Supplementary estimate on the Foreign Grants and Loans Vote. Should payment be required before the money can be voted, an advance will be obtained from the Civil Contingencies Fund.
