§ Sir John MacLeodasked the Minister of Transport if he will give an assurance that the report of the Transport Users' Consultative Committee on railway closures north and west of Inverness will be referred to the Highland Transport Board for their consideration.
§ Mr. MarplesI have agreed in principle with my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland to make available to the Board (subject to the agreement of the Committee) any information in the Committee's report which might be useful to them in considering the implications of the proposed closures for Highland transport as a whole.
