§ Dr. D. Johnsonasked the Minister of Education what bursaries or scholarships exist for qualified teachers from England wishing to proceed on exchange or tutorial courses to India, similar to those which exist for such courses in other Commonwealth countries, such as Canada, Australia and Nigeria.
§ Sir E. BoyleThere is no scheme for the exchange of teachers between 135W Britain and India although a number of British and Indian teachers are serving in each other's countries. British graduate, teachers may be eligible for a limited number of awards offered by the Indian Government under the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan for post-graduate studies in Indian universities and similar institutions.
