asked the Prime Minister if Her Majesty's Government propose to implement that part of the Plowden Committee Report which suggests that there should not be separate planning departments for the Foreign Office and the Commonwealth Relations Office.

No decision has yet been taken on the Plowden Committee's suggestion that the Foreign Office and Commonwealth Relations Office planning sections should be combined.
