§ Mr. HayThe terms of any announcement about H.M.S. "Valiant" involving information of United States origin would be agreed beforehand with the United States authorities. Otherwise release of information about this vessel is governed by the same security regulations about the release of information that apply to any other of H.M. ships.
There have been no cases where the United States authorities have objected to announcements proposed by us.
