§ Mr. Benceasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what steps he is taking to replace the various types of road swing bridges now in use on the Clyde-Forth Canal by permanent structures.
§ Mr. NobleOne of the two trunk road bridges across the canal is being replaced, and the other will be superseded when the Falkirk bypass is built. Four other bridges on important classified roads are also being replaced.
