§ Mr. Ellis Smithasked the Minister of Health if he will set out in tabular form the number of new and substantially remodelled hospitals constructed since 1946 and the number of beds provided in each case; the number constructed per 1,000 population, the number of beds in such hospitals provided per 1,000 population, and the number of new hospitals proposed in the next 10 years in the following areas, namely, London, Wales, Manchester Salford, Sheffield, and Stoke-on-Trent, respectively; if he will state the number of such hospitals constructed since 1946 within a 30 mile radius of London, Manchester, and Cardiff, respectively; and if he will also state the number of new and substantially remodelled hospitals constructed since 1946 and the number of beds provided in each case in Wales, Lancashire, and North Staffordshire, respectively.
