§ Mr. Hoosonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what forms a solicitor is required to sign before he is allowed to interview a client detained in one of Her Majesty's prisons; and if he will place copies of such form or forms in the Library of the House.
§ Miss PikeA solicitor is required to sign a form by which he undertakes that the interview and any subsequent interviews with the prisoner shall be used solely for the purpose of the professional business stated in the form and that any information obtained as a result shall not be communicated either directly or indirectly to the Press or to any person other than those to whom it may be his duty to communicate information for the purpose of the legal proceedings.
