§ 60. Mr. Swinglerasked the Secretary of State for Industry, Trade and Regional Development on what date he commenced negotiations with the Government of Czechoslovakia about the proposed liberalisation of trade in manufactured goods; on what date he informed the Czechoslovak Government of his proposals; in respect of what manufactured goods he is proposing liberalisation, and on what terms.
§ Mr. du CannNegotiations with Czechoslovakia began on 28th January on the basis of the statement which my right hon. Friend made on that day in reply to a Question from my hon. Friend the Member for Coventry, South (Mr. Hocking). The negotiations were concluded on 26th February and the list of goods concerned will be published when the documents are signed in about two weeks' time.
