§ Mr. BevinsIn the area served by the Edinburgh automatic system, 32 per cent. of private dwellings have telephones. There are 652 outstanding applications, of which 359 are for residential telephones. Of these, 575 and 285, respectively, are under inquiry or in course of being met.
