It is estimated, however, that nearly 80 per cent. of employees are covered by collective agreements or statutory wages regulation orders which, amongst other things, provide for payment for annual and public holidays. About one-sixth of all manual workers are covered by agreements which provide for more than two weeks' annual holiday and six public holidays.
