§ 51. Mr. Priorasked the Minister of Transport whether he will carry out, in conjunction with the Lowestoft police force, a thorough investigation into the demands of responsible bodies and individuals for pedestrian crossings at Middle Drive and on the High Street at the north end of the town.
§ Mr. MarplesI have received requests for pedestrian crossings in the High Street and in Middle Drive but, on the evidence provided, the crossings could not be justified. But I am willing to consider any further proposals which may be put forward by the local authority.
