§ Mr. A. Lewisasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer, in view of the fact that the nationalised industries have, over the years, paid £2,462.8 million in interest charges, what proposals he has for taking steps to reduce these interest charges in the future.
§ Mr. GreenI see no reason to change the present arrangements whereby the nationalised industries get the benefit of the Government borrowing rates.
