§ Miss Harvie Andersonasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he will now make a statement about the approval of the Charter for the proposed University of Strathclyde.
§ Mr. HoggI am happy to inform the hon. Member that Her Majesty has this day been pleased to approve that a Charter should be granted to the new University of Strathclyde. I will place in the Library a copy of the Order in Council approving the grant of the Charter as soon as it is available.
