§ Mr. NobleLocal authorities are providing larger numbers of small houses suitable for elderly people, and plans have recently been approved for experimental schemes that include accommodation for wardens. Tenders for a total of 23,739 small houses were approved in the years 1959 to 1963, the great majority of which are suitable for elderly people.
