HC Deb 16 June 1964 vol 696 c155W
30. Mr. A. Royle

asked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations and the Colonies what reports he has received on recent improvements in the resources and supply of water in Hong Kong.

Mr. Sandys

Heavy rains on 27th and 28th May and a generous offer of additional supplies by the Chinese authorities have more than doubled the amount of water stored in the reservoirs and it is now possible to provide a four hour daily supply of water.
