§ 30. Mr. A. Royleasked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations and the Colonies what reports he has received on recent improvements in the resources and supply of water in Hong Kong.
§ Mr. SandysHeavy rains on 27th and 28th May and a generous offer of additional supplies by the Chinese authorities have more than doubled the amount of water stored in the reservoirs and it is now possible to provide a four hour daily supply of water.
