§ Mr. Pounder
asked the Postmaster-General what is the proportion of telephone subscribers in Northern Ireland who are now on the subscriber trunk dialling system; and what is the estimated extension of this system during each of the next three years.

§ Mr. Bevins
Sixty-two per cent. of telephone subscribers in Northern Ireland now have S.T.D. I expect the proportion to increase during the next three years as follows:
1965, 65 per cent.
1966, 67 per cent.
1967, nearly 80 per cent.
