HC Deb 16 June 1964 vol 696 cc155-6W
33. Mr. Bottomley

asked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations and the Colonies whether he is aware that on 18th May a member of the ruling family of Beihan conducted a convoy of trucks carrying ammunition from Saudi Arabia into Beihan; and if he will inquire what later became of this ammunition, in view of the fact that such dealings in external relations are prohibited under the Treaty of Protection between Great Britain and Beihan.

Mr. Sandys

I am not aware of this and shall be grateful if the right hon. Gentleman will give me the information on which his Question is based.
