Mr. A. Brown

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) how many children, boys and girls, respectively, under 14 years of age and over 14 but under 17 years of age, respectively, were found guilty of indictable offences before the courts of England and Wales in 1963;

(2) how many children, boys and girls, respectively, under 14 years of age and over 14 but under 17 years of age, respectively, were found guilty of non-indictable offences before the courts of England and Wales in 1963;

(3) how many persons being young adults, over the age of 17 years but under the age of 21 years, were found guilty of indictable and non-indictable offences, respectively, before the courts of England and Wales in 1963.
