§ Mr. Weitzmanasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in view of the indication in the judgment of the House of Lords in Metropolitan Police Commissioner v. Hammond that it might be necessary to give urgent consideration to the whole procedure for sending accused persons from this country to the Republic of Ireland and, in particular, in the case of British subjects who had never resided in that part of Ireland, he will now introduce legislation to deal with the matter.
