§ 58. Mr. Hoosonasked the Secretary for Technical Co-operation if he will propose the setting up of a Commonwealth Voluntary Service supported by Governments to enable young Commonwealth citizens of all races to volunteer for constructive personal service in their own countries and abroad, and to provide that the work of the service is organised and co-ordinated through a Commonwealth council, representative of all participating countries in the Commonwealth, and through which existing national volunteer bodies could also work.
