§ Mr. SharplesOur policy is to manage the Royal Parks in the interest of their enjoyment by the general public, and encroachments upon the open spaces of the Parks, such as facilities for refreshments, recreation and the management of the Parks, are accepted only when they serve this purpose. We have no proposals of this kind in mind other than the restaurants, kiosks and sports facilities already announced.
