asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what is the number of primary classes with more than 40 pupils, and of secondary classes with more than 30 pupils, is the Thames-side and North-West Divisional Executive areas, respectively.

In January, 1963, there were 25 primary classes in the Thames-side Divisional Executive area with more than 40 pupils and 85 secondary classes with more than 30 pupils. The corresponding figures for North-West Kent were 32 junior and 94 senior classes.
