Mr. W. Hamilton

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs (1) on what basis he made the calculation that 270,000 people from Scotland and north-east England are expected to move to south-east England between now and 1981; and how many of the 270,000 he estimates will come from Scotland;

(2) how many overseas immigrants he expects to come into the South-East Region of England between now and 1981; and on what basis he made his calculations.
