This area includes the Urban Districts of Felling and Washington. The numbers of retirement pensioners, non-contributory pensioners and other persons receiving National Assistance grants from these two offices at the end of June were 5,603, 144 and 4,301 respectively.
§ Mr. Bostonasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance why, in view of the fact that he is able to give general information about applications for National Assistance in the Faversham constituency, information is not available to him about applications for National Assistance from retirement pensioners there.
