Glynasked the Minister of Transport if he will give the proportion by which the number of motor vehicles on the road in 1963 exceeded the number 315W in 1945; and if he will give the proportion by which the number of fatal and seriously injured road casualties exceeded the number in 1945.
§ Mr. MarplesIn 1963 there were 350 per cent. more motor vehicles on the road than in 1945. The number of people killed and seriously injured was 150 percent. greater than in 1945.
