§ The Prime MinisterNo figures are available of orders placed, but our exports of iron and steel tubes and pipes to the Soviet Union from 1951 to 1963, inclusive, amounted to £8.6 million.272W Between 1951 and 1958 the export of such tubes and pipes to the Soviet Union was subject to strategic embargo. In December, 1958 nearly all types of tubes and pipes were removed from strategic control.
