§ Mr. Hiltonasked the Secretary of State for Defence on what date the Thor missile base at North Pickenham, Norfolk, ceased to be used by Service personnel; for what purpose the base has been used since the removal of the missiles; and what the future use of this base is to be.
§ Mr. H. FraserThe missile base, which is part of North Pickenham airfield, ceased to be used in October, 1963. The base itself and the old airfield technical site are being retained for Service use and the remainder of the airfield land is being disposed of in the normal way. In the meantime all the suitable land is being farmed.
