Mr. Staintonasked the Secretary of State for Industry, Trade and Regional Development whether he is aware of the growing practice of companies describing themselves in advertising and similar matter as merchant bankers, industrial bankers, and the like; and whether, in view of the possibility of the public being misled, he will take steps to control the use of these terms.
