§ Mr. MawbyWe understand that the broadcasts referred to were privately commissioned by the Southend Police Recreation and Social Club to advertise a sports meeting of the Police Athletic Association. As regards the second part of the hon. Member's Question, my right hon. Friend is sure that police and public organisations generally are well aware of the objections to making use, for official advertising purposes, of unauthorised broadcasting stations.
