§ 69. Mr. Coulsonasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what current proposals there are for new medical schools attached to universities; how many of these have been accepted; and what proposal has been made for a medical school at the University of Hull.
§ Mr. HoggThe Government have accepted that there is a requirement for 65W a new medical school and the establishment of such a school has been proposed by nine universities, including the University of Hull, which wrote to the University Grants Committee last year. The Government hope to make a statement very shortly.
