§ Mr. Ainsleyasked the Secretary of State for Industry, Trade and Regional Development, in view of the facts that a private industrial consultant in London purchased 105 acres of land at Low Willington, Co. Durham, which 60W were designated for industrial use, that negotiations have been proceeding between the county council and the local authority for part industrial development, and that this land has stood vacant for two years and no progress has been made in layout or otherwise, whether he will inquire into this matter; and what applications for an industrial development certificate have now been received for this site.
§ Mr. D. PriceMy right hon. Friend is aware of the facts of this case. It is a matter for the local authorities concerned. There has been no application for an industrial development certificate to erect a factory on the site.
