§ Mr. RamsdenDefence establishments on Dartmoor are among those administered by Headquarters 43 (Wessex) Division/District at Taunton. This head58W £11 million out of a total for defence contracts of about £900 million. I regret that figures showing the number of people employed on these contracts is not available but in May, 1964, 357,000 employees in manufacturing industry were engaged on defence contract work of which 11,500 were employed in Wales.
