§ Mrs. ThatcherEighteen appeals arising from claims for unemployment benefit made at the Brecon employment exchange have been heard by the local tribunal since 1st January, 1962, which is the earliest date for which figures are available; all the cases were heard at Merthyr Tydfil or Aberdare; 12 appeals were heard in the absence of the appellant; one appeal was successful.
