Mr. Grey

asked the Minister of Labour how many Ministry of Labour training centres there are in the country; where they are situated; and how many people are undergoing training at the present time.

There are 19 Government Training Centres at present in operation, situated at:

Felling. Bristol.
Tursdale. Cardiff.
Hull. Birmingham.
Leeds. Leicester.
Sheffield. Long Eaton.
Letchworth. Liverpool.
Slough. Hillington (Glasgow).
Enfield. Motherwell.
Perivale. Dunfermline.
Waddon (Crovdon).
On 8th June, 1964, 2,715 persons were undergoing training at these centres.

Further Centres are being provided at:

Billingham. Hindley.
Southampton. Glasgow (Queenslie).
Poplar. Dumbarton.
Gloucester. Irvine.
Llanelly. Port Glasgow.
Blackburn.
