§ Mr. BevinsI am sorry that the information is not available in the precise form requested. 89 per cent. of applications for service on the Whitchurch exchange, which serves these two areas, are met on demand and completed within a matter of weeks. There are at present 12 applications on the waiting list; 5 years ago there were 317. The composition of the waiting list is constantly changing and a reliable average waiting time cannot be quoted.
