§ 17. Mr. Biggs-Davisonasked the Postmaster-General what further reduction he has made in the waiting list for telephones in the Chigwell Parliamentary Division of Essex.
§ Mr. MawbyAlthough 756 new telephones have been provided since last March the waiting list in the Chigwell Division remains at 158, decreases at some of the exchanges being offset by increases at others. We expect to meet 37 of the waiting applications in a few weeks time and most of the remainder before the end of the year.
