§ 88. Mr. Hoyasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what reply he has made to the recommendations and suggestions of the White Fish Authority on the white fish industry.
§ Mr. SoamesI am not yet in a position to make a statement on the suggestions made by the White Fish Authority. The Secretary of State for Scotland and I will, however, this week be laying before Parliament a scheme enabling grants to be made towards the improvement of fishing vessels. I hope to be able to give the House further information soon.
