§ 71. Mr. Parkerasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will instruct the Metropolitan Police to stop the continual testing of car brakes by employees of Oldfield garage in King's Avenue, Chadwell Heath, on the grounds of public nuisance.
§ Mr. BrookeI am informed by the Commissioner of Police that the police have investigated this matter but have not found evidence of excessive use of this road for the testing of car brakes. They will, however, continue to pay attention to it.
