§ Mr. MarplesYes. It is an offence ranking for disqualification to leave a vehicle in a dangerous position, and paragraph 54 of the Highway Code gives advice about stopping and parking. On trunk roads where sufficient lay-bys and hardstandings can be provided I shall continue to create clearways as the necessary improvements are completed.
