HL Deb 28 January 1964 vol 254 cc1125-6WA
LORD STONHAM

asked Her Majesty's Government:

To state for each of the years 1959 to 1962 the total number of vehicles for which tolls were paid to cross the Connell Ferry Railway Bridge Argyllshire, and the total number of passengers and pedestrians for whom tolls were paid; and the total sum collected in tolls from all sources.

EARL FERRERS

The bridge to which the Question refers is owned by the British Railways Board. My right honourable friend the Minister of Transport does not feel justified in asking them to provide details of the operation and results of a particular facility. I regret, therefore, that I cannot supply the noble Lord with the information he seeks.

House adjourned at nine minutes past five o'clock.
