JosephI am sure that a short and simple name is best and I have held to this rule throughout the London area save in the case of Kensington and Chelsea, where the arguments for a longer name seemed exceptional. Both Woolwich and Greenwich are and will continue to be famous and honourable names, but I was not persuaded that both these names should be included in the name of the new borough.
