Whether they will arrange for Her Majesty's Stationery Office to make available for sale to the public the printed list of the names of Members of Parliament who get the first twenty places in the Ballot for Private Members' Bills.
§ THE EARL OF LONGFORDConsiderable publicity is given to the names1076WA of those successful in the Ballot, and both their names and their choice of Bills appear in the Votes and Proceedings of the House of Commons and in the House of Commons OFFICIAL REPORT. The noble Lord will accept that this is largely a matter for another place, and I am drawing the attention of the authorities of that House to the proposal of the noble Lord. I will let him know the result of my representations.
